Location: Kolašin
Partners: NGO “Natura”
Objectives: Environmental protection and promotion of sustainable development, focusing on reforestation activities, riverbed maintenance, green spaces, and the study, protection, and promotion of medicinal plants and forest fruits.
Activities: With the support of the Petrović Njegoš Foundation, NGO “Natura” hired a person from a rural area to maintain experimental plots, essential for the plant’s survival during the summer. A student camp was held on these plots where students from the Faculty of Biotechnology had the opportunity to learn about rare and endangered medicinal plants. Additionally, new medicinal plant seedlings were purchased and planted, enriching the diversity of cultivated plants.
