Activities: The central event organized by the Natural History Museum for Researchers’ Night was the exhibition titled “Story of Trees”. The exhibition was held in the gallery space of the Petrović Njegoš Foundation and was visited by over 700 people, with the majority being elementary and high school students from Podgorica and other cities in Montenegro. It was an opportunity to learn about different species of oaks, hornbeams, maples, and conifers; their crown shapes, bark appearance, leaf structure, and fruits, and to distinguish related species. Additionally, visitors learned where these woody species grow in Montenegro and their economic importance. Exhibits prepared for visually impaired visitors allowed them to experience the shape and texture through touch, with audio recordings about the woody species.
