Presentation of new technologies for ecological transition
On December 7, 2018, in cooperation with IPC Tehnopolis and representatives of GENIO, Anthos Air Power and WM International, the Foundation Petrović Njegos organised a presentation of new technologies for ecological transition in the premises of IPC Tehnopolic in Niksic, concerning waste treatment and recycling, sustainable energy storage and compressed air as clean energy.
One of the objectives of the foundation Petrović Njegoš is to promote ecology and sustainable development, focusing on CO2-free solutions that can make Montenegro a pioneer in the field of waste treatment and the fight against global warming.
The issue of waste, together with the issue of energy, is one of the most complex and urgent problems facing societies, which are at the heart of ecology, the economy and new technologies.
The Foundation Petrović Njegoš and the NGOs Napredak Gornja Lastva and Expeditio are preparing a study on biomass valorization in the Vrmac Peninsula. This project could help protect the area from summer fires and revitalize the area by enhancing the unique landscape of the site.
In addition to Prince Nikola and representatives of the above-mentioned companies, the Director of Tehnopolis, Mr. Ratko Bataković, and the Minister of Sustainable Development and Tourism, Mr. Pavle Radulović, also attended the presentation.
