“Pobjeda”, 6.10.2013 The Big Concert in Cetinje

The concert of a famous violinist Anton Martinov accompanied by soloists of the orchestra “La Camerata de Paris” was held in honor of a famous compositor Antonio Vivaldi on Saturday evening in the Government House in Cetinje. The concert was organized by the Petrovic Njegos Foundation, the Association “Rive Gauche Musique” from Paris and the Old Royal Capital of Cetinje. The Association “Rive Gauche Musique”, chaired by Prince Nikola, arranged the visit of Anton Martinov through Montenegro, so that the evening before the concert in Cetinje he performed in Perast, as well.

Anton Martinov is a reputable pianist, violinist and composer. Even though the tonight concert is a “Homage to Vivaldi” the audience in Cetinje had an opportunity to hear compositions by Federico Maria Sardelli and Anton Martinov. – There is no special reason why the tonight concert was dedicated to Vivaldi. I love to play his compositions, therefore I decided that the program should be based on Vivaldi’s compositions. For tonight program I chose compositions which I usually play and enjoy performing. These compositions are suitable to be performed with a small orchestra, like the one I will perform with tonight – Martinov Said. At the end of the concert Martinov performed his own composition dedicated to Montenegro.
