Based on the Memorandum of Understanding signed with the Directorate for SME Development and the Mediterranean University, in the period from September 2013 to January 2014, the Petrovic Njegos Foundation implemented the project related to the development of visual identity for business start-ups, called the “Design Patrol” (Dizajn Patrola).
This project involved 9 small and medium size enterprises from Bar and Podgorica, 21 students of visual communications design, 6 mentors teaching the subject Multimedia studio at the Faculty of Visual Arts within the Mediterranean University.
The aim of this project is to create a uniform image of the companies that participated in this project that will help them become recognizable and better positioned in the market. To that end, To that end, the book of standards will be developed containing instructions for the use of elements of visual presentation for each specific and presumed case. This involves development of new or redesign of the existing log, with instructions for use for primary and secondary means of communication (memorandum, stamp, invitation, announcement, brochure, flag, vehicle), final products (pens, hats, T-shirts), product packaging (packaging, labels, stickers), publications, signaling, uniforms.
Participants in this project are companies from the production and service sectors, with which the Directorate has already established cooperation, as well as companies within the Business start-up center in Bar. The first presentation of trademarks was organized in the beginning of November last year, while the presentation of work results was organized on 27 January 2013, in the premises of the Petrovic Njegos Foundation.
