The Petrovic Njegos Foundation participated in the New Year’s Market organized by the International Women’s Club Montenegro, in December 2012, for the purpose of collecting money to purchase diagnostics equipment for the Oncology Ward in the Clinical Center of Montenegro. The Foundation joined this traditionally organized humanitarian activity in 2013 and 2014, as well.
In order to promote and develop programs which help people with disabilities, the Foundation begun a cooperation with the Center Gabrielle (Centre de la Gabrielle) in 2014, a non-profit organization from France which provides multiple care services for children and adults with intellectual disabilities.
The Petrovic Njegos Foundation organized on Saturday, November 8th an International Symposium on Clinical Oncology at which the lecturers spoke on the topic of contemporary approaches in the treatment of the breast cancer.
Children’s Week under the slogan “Do not fight – be a friend” was marked in Podgorica from 1. to 7. October, and the Foundation has provided support to the organizers of this event – the Children’s Education Center “Pcelica”.
The Foundation has donated funds for the continuation of the “Children’s and Young people’s Club” Project, which is being implemented by the NGO “Jonathan Livingston” from Cetinje, within the framework of non-formal education and in order to achieve greater social inclusion of children and young people from marginalized groups.
