As part of the celebration of 200 years of the birth of Petar II Petrović Njegoš, the Foundation organized a poetry walk from the birthplace of the poet to the Mausoleum.
In August 2013, marking the battle in Celinski potok, in cooperation with SUBNOR Niksic, a monument was revealed to honour nine members of the Petrovic family who lost their lives in this battle.
The Petrovic Njegos Foundation supported the second cycle of the Cetinje Art Colony, with twenty participating artists from Montenegro and the region. This event, organized to celebrate the 200th anniversary of the birth of Petar II Petrovic, lasted for ten days, with a dozen or so artists creating their works during that period.
FPN welcomed the initiative to promote modern arts in Montenegro and supported the Sinestezija Festival, held in July in Herceg Novi.
The Foundation supported the International Festival of Short Stories ‘Where I’m Calling From’, organized by the Karver Bookstore in Podgorica in late June. This was the fifth international festival of short stories, where the works by some thirty authors from Montenegro, Slovenia, Croatia, Serbia, Bosnia and Herzegovina and Turkey were presented.
