Citadel in Ulcinj and the old town of Herceg Novi are one of the richest cultural heritage monuments in Montenegro.
After the cultural heritage workshops successively held in 2013, 2014 and 2015 in Ulcinj, the Foundation made a preliminary study of the conservation and valorization of Ulcinj Citadel, in collaboration with French architects, headed by the chief architect for historical monuments and the President of ICOMOS in France, Mr. Benjamin Mouton.
The 17th International Biennial of Graphics was opened on 21 November 2015 in Sarcelles, nearby Paris.
The Petrovic Njegos Foundation and the MED21 Program – Network of awards for the promotion of excellence in the Mediterranean have agreed to introduce an International Nikola Tesla Award for the promotion of scientific research and technological creativity in the Mediterranean and throughout the world.
The play “Prometheus – a light attempt”, performed on 24 June, served to mark 40 years since the establishment of the DODEST theatre, and the Foundation provided financial support to KIC “Budo Tomovic” in the organization of this event.
Center of young scientists at the Montenegrin Academy of Sciences and Arts (MASA) and the Petrovic Njegos Foundation organized a scientific conference titled “Montenegro and France – literary, linguistic and cultural ties”, on 26 May in Podgorica.
